While I agree that this is what we want to see our nation become, this reads as though it is borderline positive confession. We can pray for national repentance. We can call the nation back to repentance. We can undo every lie, deception, falsehood, and anything else that has turned our society away from the God whose principles upon which it was founded. But the one thing we cannot do is "positive confess" the nation, or any person for that matter, into repentance. That is ultimately a choice that each person has to make.

What was a burden and obstacle to one person will be another's blessing. If one single mother gave her daughter up for adoption simply because she didn't want her, then it makes me wonder how many single parents---single mothers in particular---are raising children they don't want but are just not honest enough to admit how resentful they are of their current situation.

If she had been more responsible with what she was doing with her body in the first place, maybe she would not have ended up in that situation to begin with but giving a child up for adoption, regardless of the reasoning of the parent, is always better than murdering them in the womb. At least her child will still get to live her life as best as she can and will hopefully and prayerfully end up in a loving home.
